Phosphoric monoester hydrolase-like activity in the odontoblast-predentine region of intact and carious human teeth

open access: closedArchives of Oral Biology, 1977
Abstract Coronal odontoblast-predentine tissue was taken from intact teeth and from teeth with various types of occlusal caries, and the specific phosphoric monoester hydrolase activity in the non-sedimentable (20,200 g ) fraction was measured at alkaline and acid pH, using p-nitrophenyl phosphate as a substrate.

Phosphoric monoester hydrolases in cotyledons of germinating peanut seeds (Arachis hypogaea L.)

open access: closedPhytochemistry, 1967
Abstract A tentative characterization of the phosphatase activity in cotyledons of germinating peanut seeds is presented. Ammonium sulfate precipitation of the crude homogenate yielded a fraction that included most of the phosphohydrolytic activity and indicated the presence of inhibitor(s) specific for P-choline phosphohydrolysis in the crude ...

P-Chloride-Free Synthesis of Phosphoric Esters: Microwave-Assisted Esterification of Alkyl- and Dialkyl Phosphoric Ester-acids obtained from phosphorus pentoxide

Synthesis, 2022
It is a reasonable endeavour to replace P-chloride starting materials (e.g. POCl3) by greener and cheaper reagents. Our purpose was to start from phosphorus pentoxide, i.e. to utilize its reaction with alcohols in the preparation of (HO)2P(O)(OR) and HOP(

The subcellular distribution and properties of Crithidia sp. hydrolases with particular reference to pyrophosphate and orthophosphate monoester phosphohydrolases.

Canadian Journal of Biochemistry, 1976
A cell fractionation scheme was developed for studying the distribution of certain hydrolases, especially phosphohydrolases in a Crithidia sp. (Trypanosomatidae).

Carbon-14-and carbon-13-labeled phosphoric acid [2-4-(4-cyanophenyl)-thiazol-2-yl]-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1-[1,2,4]triazol-4-yl-methylpropoxymethyl] monoester dilysine salt, a prodrug of ravuconazole

, 2011
4-Bromobenzoic acid [carboxyl-14C] and 4-(2-bromoacetyl) [Ar-13C6]benzonitrile were transformed into the title compounds containing [ring14C-thiazol-4-yl] and [Ar-13C6-benzonitrile]. 14C-Ravuconazole was prepared in 37% yield and Purity >99%.
