Diacylglycerol (DAG) and phosphatidic acid (PtdOH) play important roles in a variety of signaling cascades (Carrasco and Merida, 2007; Stace and Ktistakis, 2006). Therefore, the physiological roles and regulatory mechanisms controlling the levels of these lipids are important.

N→S phosphoryl migration in phosphoryl glutathion
International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1993It was found that in the case of N‐(diisopropylphosphoryl) glutathion (reduced form), 2, N→ S phosphoryl migration took place, but not for N,N‐bis(diisopropylphosphoryl) glutathion (oxidized form) or N‐diisopropylphosphoryl cysteine. These results were deduced by 31P‐NMR tracing experiments.

Neurofilament proteins (NFPs) are highly phosphorylated molecules in the axonal compartment of the adult nervous system. The phosphorylation of NFP is considered an important determinant of filament caliber, plasticity, and stability. This process reflects the function of NFs during the lifetime of a neuron from differentiation in the embryo through ...

Non-phosphorylated intermediates in oxidative phosphorylation
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, 1963Abstract 1. 1. This paper is concerned with the study of the formation of non-phosphorylated intermediates in digitonin particles prepared from rat-liver mitochondria. 2. 2. Digitonin particles were preincubated with either β-hydroxybutyrate, sucinate or ferrocytochrome c for a short time at 20°.
