Non‐invasive characterization of melanoma depth at single‐cell resolution

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
Non‐invasive determination of Breslow depth would be beneficial for the clinical management of melanoma. We demonstrate that RSOM can achieve non‐invasive imaging of single melanocytes up to several millimetres in tissue. A pilot clinical study showed a high degree of correlation between RSOM and the standard for Breslow depth determination.

Crossing scales and eras: Correlative multimodal microscopy heritage studies

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract The comprehensive characterisation of complex, irreplaceable cultural heritage artefacts presents significant challenges for traditional analytical methods, which can fall short in providing multi‐scale, non‐invasive analysis. Correlative Multimodal Microscopy (CoMic), an approach that integrates data from multiple techniques, offers a ...

Soil organic carbon trends in US Midwest continuous maize and maize–soybean systems over 20 years

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 8, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract Efforts have focused on managing agricultural lands to optimize ecosystem health and provide key ecosystem services, including soil carbon (C) sequestration, yield stability, and climate resilience. These efforts often rely on adopting climate‐smart practices, including no‐till agriculture, crop diversification, cover cropping, and the ...

The Role of Stromal Tumor Environment in Advancing Skin Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

open access: yesInternational Journal of Dermatology, Volume 64, Issue 11, Page 2019-2028, November 2025.
ABSTRACT The stromal tumor environment (STE) plays a vital yet often underrecognized role in cancer progression, shaping tumor development. It influences complex interactions among stromal cells, immune cells, extracellular matrix (ECM) components, and signaling molecules.
