Ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles emerge as promising positive contrast agents for low‐field MRI. Unlike larger SPIONs, these particles exhibit enhanced T1 relaxivity through rapid magnetic fluctuations and surface spin canting. Their biocompatibility, renal clearance pathway, and bright contrast generation offer safer alternatives ...

The broadband absorption coefficient spectrum of the rabbit lung was reconstructed from the absorption spectra of tissue components. The similar accumulation of melanin and lipofuscin was retrieved from the broadband baseline in the absorption coefficient spectrum, and the calculation of the absorption fold ratios for proteins, DNA and hemoglobin ...

A novel anisotropically π‐extended hexaphyrin dye, t‐Pd2‐3, exhibits abnormally low‐energy absorption and emission beyond 1500 nm within the NIR‐IIb biological window. The specific optical feature of t‐Pd2‐3 contributed to its being utilized as a NIR‐IIb‐excitation‐induced photoacoustic contrast agent for deeper tissue imaging applications. Abstract We

“MR Fingerprinting for Imaging Brain Hemodynamics and Oxygenation”
ABSTRACT Over the past decade, several studies have explored the potential of magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) for the quantification of brain hemodynamics, oxygenation, and perfusion. Recent advances in simulation models and reconstruction frameworks have also significantly enhanced the accuracy of vascular parameter estimation.

Ultra‐thin, tunable bandpass filters are a pathway to realizing mid‐infrared spectrometers that are compact, low power, and performant. The authors elicit 141 nanometres of passband tunability in the mid‐infrared in silicon on sapphire zero‐contrast gratings by exploiting silicon's high thermo‐optic coefficient.
