An Account on BiVO4 as Photocatalytic Active Matter
Photocatalytic materials are gaining popularity and research investment for developing light-driven micromotors. While most of the early work used highly stable TiO2 as a material to construct micromotors, mostly in combination with noble metals, other semiconductors offer a wider range of properties, including independence from high-energy UV light ...

Pharmaceutical Removal with Photocatalytically Active Nanocomposite Membranes
The advancement of pharmaceutical science has resulted in the development of numerous tailor-made compounds, i.e., pharmaceuticals, tuned for specific drug targets. These compounds are often characterized by their low biodegradability and are commonly excreted to a certain extent unchanged from the human body.

A photoactive tweezers system based on photoactive colloids is developed and systematically investigated in this study. Through experimental and theoretical methods, we demonstrate that the photoredox reaction catalyzed by a dye‐sensitized TiO2 particle generates a strong positive phototaxis, enabling self‐entrapment in the beam center.

Angstrom‐Scale Confined Ion Sieve and Accelerator for Efficient Aqueous Zinc Batteries
An angstrom‐scale confined ion accelerator strategy is proposed for ultra‐stable aqueous Zn anodes. Selective and precise transport of hydrated Zn(H2O)62+, Zn2+ cations, H2O molecules, and SO42− anions is achieved by in‐plane atomic Ti vacancies and angstrom‐scale interlayer free spacing within the Ti0.87O2 interfacial layer, leading to homogeneous Zn ...

Cu‐Pd Dual Single Atoms Promoting Selective CO2 Photoreduction to C2 Products in Seawater
Cu and Pd dual single atoms anchored on TiO2 cooperatively enhance C─C coupling during CO2 photoreduction in seawater. Under xenon‐light irradiation and without a sacrificial reagent/alkaline trapping agent, the catalyst achieves highly selective acetic acid formation.
