Organic chemistry on Titan [PDF]
Observations of nonequilibrium phenomena on the Saturn satellite Titan indicate the occurrence of organic chemical evolution. Greenhouse and thermal inversion models of Titan's atmosphere provide environmental constraints within which various pathways ...

Hydrocarbon and halocarbon measurements as photochemical and dynamical indicators of atmospheric hydroxyl, atomic chlorine, and vertical mixing obtained during Lagrangian flights [PDF]
Nonmethane hydrocarbons and halocarbons were measured during two Lagrangian experiments conducted in the lower troposphere of the North Atlantic as part of the June 1992, Atlantic Stratosphere Transition Experiment/Marine Aerosol and Gas Exchange (ASTEX ...

A dual‐domain PSLC architecture enables direct comparison of alignment‐dependent laser damage within a single device. Crack‐like and seal‐like morphologies emerge under different damage conditions, and their evolution is interpreted through quantitative image analysis and heat‐driven simulations.

Strong Plasmon–Exciton Coupling Tuned by Corner Etching of Gold Nanocubes and Nanotriangles
Systematic etching of gold nanocubes (AuNCs) and nanotriangles (AuNTs) reveals how nanoparticle morphology governs plasmon–exciton strong coupling. While rounding the corners of AuNCs weakens their coupling, triangular geometries robustly preserve deep strong coupling.

Impact of a large wildfire on water-soluble organic aerosol in a major urban area: the 2009 Station Fire in Los Angeles County [PDF]
This study examines the nature of water-soluble organic aerosol measured in Pasadena, CA, under typical conditions and under the influence of a large wildfire (the 2009 Station Fire).

An organic–inorganic mixed excited state is designed and demonstrated by combining the metal–metal and π–π interactions within a supramolecular Pt2–pyrene assembly. Directional orbital overlap between the Pt and carbon atoms gives rise to a long‐lived triplet emission, strong emission polarization, exciton–exciton annihilation, and efficient exciton ...

Phototunable Polarization Volume Gratings Driven by Chiral Hydrazone Switches
Chiral hydrazone photoswitches incorporated into polarization volume gratings enable light‐driven, reversible modulation of optical properties. UV and blue light irradiation reversibly alter the hydrazone isomer ratio, leading to tunable diffraction efficiency and spectral response across the visible spectrum.
