Bi2O2Se/Ta2NiSe5 Tunneling Heterojunction for High‐Performance, Polarization‐Sensitive, and Broadband Infrared Photodetector

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
An optimal dynamic balance between carrier lifetime and transit time is achieved in the Bi2O2Se/Ta2NiSe5 tunneling heterojunction, which simultaneously attains high responsivity (>103 A W−1) and a fast response time (≈5 µs). The specific detectivity can reach 3.75 × 1013 Jones at 633 nm and 1.8 × 1010 Jones at 1550 nm. Abstract New technologies such as

Configuration and Charge Dynamics of Defect‐Cluster‐Dipoles in CaTiO3 for Enhanced Permittivity

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In La‐doped CaTiO3, the clustering of La ion and Ca vacancies is clearly observed and the configuration of such defect‐cluster is validated. Combining photoelctronic and dielectric spectroscopy enables the dielectric relaxation process with the charge transfer routes.

Influence of the Twist Angle and Spin–Orbit Coupling on the Interlayer Coupling and Optoelectronic Properties of MoS2/WS2 Superlattice Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study employs DFT to analyze twist‐angle‐induced interlayer coupling effects in √7 MoS2/WS2 heterostructures. Compared to 2H stacking, 21.79° and 38.21° configurations exhibit weakened coupling, promoting indirect‐to‐direct bandgap transitions trend while suppressing interlayer transitions and low‐frequency Raman modes offering characterization ...

Phase Transition in Halide Double Perovskites for Solar‐To‐Chemical Energy Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Disorder‐to‐order phase transition in double perovskite Cs2AgBiBr6 eliminates self‐trapped excitons and antisite defects and promotes charge separation, with over sixfold photoactivity enhancement in photocatalytic C−H bond activation. Abstract Halide double perovskites have recently garnered significant interest in solar energy conversion applications
