We introduce stoichiometry control within both core and shell regions of InP/ZnSe/ZnS core/shell/shell quantum dots (QDs) to advance their properties drastically, approaching those of state-of-the-art CdSe-based QDs.

Photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation study of CuGaTe2
Journal of Applied Physics, 1998Photoluminescence (PL) and photoluminescence excitation measurements over a temperature range 12 K<T<300 K on high quality CuGaTe2 crystals grown by the vertical Bridgman method were completed. The whole PL spectrum consists of two regions.

Spin-induced linear polarization of photoluminescence in antiferromagnetic van der Waals crystals
Nature Materials, 2020Antiferromagnets are promising components for spintronics due to their terahertz resonance, multilevel states and absence of stray fields. However, the zero net magnetic moment of antiferromagnets makes the detection of the antiferromagnetic order and ...

Photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy of Al0.48In0.52As
Journal of Applied Physics, 1993A detailed study of the photoluminescence (PL) and photoluminescence excitation (PLE) properties of Al0.48In0.52As is presented. A PL linewidth of 13 meV and a Stokes shift of only 9 meV at 4.2 K both indicate that the effect of clustering is minimal in our samples. The Stokes shift is three times lower than the lowest reported in the literature.

Photoluminescent ellipsometric circular dichroism
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2023A novel spectroscopic technique, photoluminescent ellipsometric circular dichroism (PECD), which distinguishes all radiative electronic transitions related to molecular chiral centers. Additionally, it is proposed as complementary to the ellipsometric Raman spectroscopy (ERS) technique, thus establishing a relationship between vibrational modes and ...
