Photometry in rabbits

Documenta Ophthalmologica, 1971
1. The question whether the rabbit's spectral sensitivity curve is based on one spectral system or based on more systems is investigated. 2. For this purpose two different methods have been applied. The first method is a photometric match technique that made use of moving contrasts.

Heterochromatic modulation photometry

Annual Meeting Optical Society of America, 1987
Heterochromatic flicker photometry and minimally distinct border are two methods of estimating luminance for individual observers. We describe a method of obtaining luminance for heterochromatic lights presented in heterochromatic temporal alternation.

Standards for Photometry

Applied Optics, 1971
A survey is given of the standards used in photometry and spectroradiometry. After an introduction in Sec. I, the candela and lumen standards are discussed in Sec. II. Some problems related to heterochromatic photometry and the changes in the IPTS are mentioned in Secs. II.B and II.C, respectively. Section III deals with standards for spectroradiometry-

Photometry

2008
Publisher Summary Photometry is widely used as a robust and versatile detection technique for the general analytical chemical literature and in some flow-injection analysis (FIA). Photometry is used to describe the assessment of the properties of light sources, such as radiation characteristics, color temperature, and color rendering index in color ...

Atomic Absorption and Flame Photometry: Techniques and Uses in Soil, Plant, and Water Analysis

, 2015
The determination of available essential plant nutrient elements in soils and plants is necessary if yields are to be maintained at a high and efficient production level.

Radiometry and Photometry

American Journal of Physics, 1968
In order to reduce the confusion associated with many of the introductory treatments of photometry, it is suggested that initially the concepts of radiation transfer be introduced in terms of the more familiar units of radiometry. The conversion to photometric units can then be accomplished by a straightforward integration.

Photometry of Phoebe

Icarus, 1986
The nonsynchronous rotational period and light curve for Phoebe are analyzed. The variations in CCD chip pixel response, the intensity of the images, the sky background level, and the atmospheric effects and color response of the detector are examined.

Lichtsinn und Photometrie [PDF]

open access: possible, 1958
Das Auge ist wie die ubrigen Sinnesorgane vor allem Gegenstand physiologischer und psychologischer Forschung. Trotzdem mus auch der Physiker einiges von den wichtigsten Eigenschaften seines Lichtsinnes kennen.

2-D Photometry

1985
Strictly speaking, the projected images of all astronomical objects appear to possess a two-dimensional light distribution. In fact, due to the resolution con- straints of the earth atmosphere and of the observational equipments (telescopes as well as detectors), even point- like sources such as distant stars and extremely remote galaxies are spread ...
