Exclusive Resonance Production in Photon-Photon Collisions
1989A considerable number of measurements of exclusive resonance production in twophoton collisions have been reported during the last year. Observations of spin one mesons, the f 1(1285) and a state with mass 1.42 GeV/c2, are among the most interesting new results, and will be treated here in some detail. New measurements of the γγ widths of the η c (2980)

Photon-photon production in Hadron-Hadron collisions
2008Quantum Chromodynamic (QCD) estimates are made for the large transverse momentum production of single and double photons in pp, \(\overline p p\), and π±p collisions. In addition to the pure QED annihilation term \(q\overline q\) → γγ, it is found that the QCD induced gluon-gluon subprocess gg → γγ, is an important source of double photons.
