Prompt Photon Production at the Tevatron and LHC
Prompt photon production has been studied by the CDF and DØ experiments at the Fermilab Tevatron collider in pp̅ collisions at the centre of mass energy of √s = 1.96 TeV and by the ATLAS experiment at LHC in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV.Measurements of ...

Jet Production in Photon-Photon Interactions
We present results on jet production in γγ interactions where both photons are quasi-real. The invariant masses of the hadronnic system are limited to the range 4≦W vis≦12 GeV/c2. The data approach the quark-Parton-Model (QPM) expectation at the highestp jet ...

Production of photons and dileptons in the Glasma [PDF]
We study the production of photons and dileptons during the pre-equilibrium Glasma stage in heavy ion collisions and discuss the implications in light of the PHENIX data. We find that the measured distributions of such electromagnetic emissions, while having some features not well understood if hypothesized to entirely arise from a thermalized Quark ...

NNLO photon fragmentation within antenna subtraction
We report on our recent progress towards including the photon fragmentation contribution in next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD predictions for photon production cross sections.

Production of χc2 mesons in photon-photon collisions at LEP [PDF]
We present an observation at LEP of the production of chi_c2 mesons in the collisions of two quasi-real photons using the OPAL detector. The chi_c2 mesons are reconstructed in the decay channel Chi_c2 to J/psi gamma to l+l- gamma (with l= e,mu) using all data taken at e+e- centre-of-mass energies of 91 and 183 GeV, corresponding to integrated ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Coherent photo-produced J/ψ and dielectron yields in isobaric collisions
Recently, significant enhancements of J/ψ and e+e− pair production at very low transverse momenta were observed by the STAR and ALICE collaborations in peripheral hadronic A + A collisions.

Production mechanisms for Bc mesons in photon-photon collisions [PDF]
Using photon-photon collisions as a particularly transparent study case we investigate the production mechanisms for $B_c$ mesons. In nonrelativistic approximation and to $O(α^2α_s^2)$ it is shown that recombination of $\bar{b}$- and $c$-quarks dominates by far over $\bar{b}$ and $c$ fragmentation.

Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,
