Numerical solution of photocounting statistics inverse problem for few-photon pulsed laser sources [PDF]
We present a numerical procedure for recovering of photon statistics of few-photon pulsed laser sources. It provides controlled level of mean error for both of photon and photocounting statistics. It is shown that procedure is correct for model data with

Photon emission statistics of a driven microwave cavity
Recent experimental advances have made it possible to detect individual quantum jumps in open quantum systems, such as the tunneling of single electrons in nanoscale conductors or the emission of photons from nonclassical light sources.

Generalized binomial distribution in photon statistics
The photon-number distribution between two parts of a given volume is found for an arbitrary photon statistics. This problem is related to the interaction of a light beam with a macroscopic device, for example a diaphragm, that separates the photon flux ...

Accurate Detection of Arbitrary Photon Statistics [PDF]
We report a measurement workflow free of systematic errors consisting of a reconfigurable photon-number-resolving detector, custom electronic circuitry, and faithful data-processing algorithm. We achieve unprecedentedly accurate measurement of various photon-number distributions going beyond the number of detection channels with average fidelity 0.998,
