Photoproduction of the hypertriton [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics A, 1998
In the framework of the impulse approximation we study the photoproduction of the hypertriton $^3_ $H by using realistic $^3$He wave functions obtained as solutions of Faddeev equations with the Reid soft-core potential for different $^3_ $H wave functions. We obtain relatively small cross sections of the order of 1 nb.

Photoproduction of mesons off nuclei

open access: yes, 2011
Recent results for the photoproduction of mesons off nuclei are reviewed. These experiments have been performed for two major lines of research related to the properties of the strong interaction.

Dressing the electromagnetic nucleon current [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A field-theory-based approach to pion photoproduction off the nucleon is used to derive a microscopically consistent formulation of the fully dressed electromagnetic nucleon current in an effective Lagrangian formalism.

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

Color Evaporation and Elastic $\Upsilon$ Photoproduction at DESY HERA [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The diffractive photoproduction of vector mesons is usually described considering the two-gluon (Pomeron) exchange, non-diagonal parton distributions and the contribution of the real part to the cross section.

Bifunctional Molecular Switches in Fused Diarylethene–Rhodamine Systems

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, EarlyView.
Spectroscopic and time‐dependent density‐functional theory studies show that these novel rhodamine‐based diarylethene (DAE) compounds display intense UV absorption, undergo reversible two‐step protonation involving triazole and rhodamine units, and respond selectively to acid, base, and metal ions.

$\eta_c$ production in photon - induced interactions at the LHC

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper we investigate the $\eta_c$ production by photon - photon and photon - hadron interactions in $pp$ and $pA$ collisions at the LHC energies. The inclusive and diffractive contributions for the $\eta_c$ photoproduction are estimated using the

MESON PHOTOPRODUCTION AT GRAAL [PDF]

open access: yesElectromagnetic Interactions in Nuclear and Hadron Physics, 2002
At the GRAAL facility, a polarised and tagged gamma ray beam is produced in the energy range from 500 MeV up to 1500 MeV. Results of beam polarisation asymmetries and cross sections for the photoproduction of eta and pi(0) on the proton are presented.

Remarks on pion photoproduction [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1970
Abstract We record some predictions for charged pion photoproduction implicit in our previous work. These include extension of the pseudomodel to somewhat larger t -values and a discussion of photoproduction from a polarized target. Some remarks are also made on the predictions of gauge-invariant perturbation theory.

Quantifying interactive photochemical and microbial removal of terrestrial dissolved organic carbon: From experiments to modeling

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography Letters, Volume 11, Issue 2, March 2026.
Abstract The biogeochemical fate of terrestrial dissolved organic carbon (tDOC) in aquatic environments is a poorly understood part of the carbon cycle. In nature, tDOC undergoes photochemical and microbial degradation simultaneously. However, photochemical and microbial degradation are generally quantified separately, and nonlinear interactions ...
