Measurement of the double polarization observable E in η′-photoproduction

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
The nucleon excitation spectrum is investigated at the Crystal Barrel experiment through different photoproduction reactions. The photoproduction of single η′ mesons off protons is of particular importance since it offers the opportunity to study the ...

Coherent J/ψ photoproduction in ultra-peripheral PbPb collisions at sNN=2.76TeV with the CMS experiment

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
The cross section for coherent J/ψ photoproduction accompanied by at least one neutron on one side of the interaction point and no neutron activity on the other side, Xn0n, is measured with the CMS experiment in ultra-peripheral PbPb collisions at sNN=2 ...

Coherent $$\mathrm{J}/\psi $$ J / ψ  and $${\uppsi '}$$ ψ ′  photoproduction at midrapidity in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb  collisions at $$\sqrt{s_{\mathrm {NN}}}~=~5.02$$ s NN = 5.02  TeV

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
The coherent photoproduction of $$\mathrm{J}/\psi $$ J / ψ and $${\uppsi '}$$ ψ ′ mesons was measured in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy $$\sqrt{s_{\mathrm {NN}}}~=~5.02$$ s NN = 5.02  TeV  with the ALICE detector.

Nuclear effects in photoproduction of heavy quarks and vector mesons in ultraperipheral PbPb and pPb collisions at the LHC

open access: yes, 2012
The comparison of photoproduction cross sections for $c\bar{c}$ and b-b(bar) in PbPb and pPb collisions can give sensitivity to nuclear shadowing effects.

Theoretical study of incoherent phi photoproduction on a deuteron target [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We study the photoproduction of phi mesons in deuteron, paying attention to the modification of the cross section from bound protons to the free ones with the aim of comparing with recent results at LEPS.

Baryon–anti-Baryon photoproduction [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2020
Baryon - anti-baryon photoproduction off a proton target is being studied in detail at Jefferson Lab with the GlueX Experiment. We observe $p\bar{p}$ and, for the first time, $ \bar $ photoproduction (with $ \rightarrow ^- p$, $\bar \rightarrow ^+ \bar{p}$) from thresholds up to $E_ = 11.4$ GeV.

Nitric oxide supersaturation in the surface waters of the oligotrophic Atlantic Ocean

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography Letters, Volume 11, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Atmospheric nitric oxide (NO) is a pollutant and climate‐relevant trace gas. Dissolved NO accumulates in the surface ocean and therefore the ocean is a natural source of atmospheric NO. It is generally assumed that NO in the surface ocean is produced photochemically from nitrite (NO2−).

Meson resonances in forward-angle π+π− photoproduction

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
Assuming that the π+π− photoproduction at forward angles and high energies is dominated by one pion exchange we calculate the π+π− mass distributions for low partial waves.

Evolution of Ionospheric Ion Upflow Flux During the April 2023 Geomagnetic Storm

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract We study the impact of the evolving magnetosphere‐ionosphere‐thermosphere system on upward ion fluxes during the 23–24 April 2023 geomagnetic storm. This storm has a “double‐dip” structure where two southward IMF Bz ${\mathrm{B}}_{z}$ periods cause two dips in the SYM‐H index.
