Nitrogen Oxides in the Remote Marine Environment: Implications for Oceanic Emissions and Photolysis of Particulate Nitrate

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 130, Issue 22, 28 November 2025.
Abstract Nitric oxide (NO) in the remote marine atmosphere is underestimated by chemistry‐climate models. We explore the potential oceanic emissions of NO and its impacts using a global chemistry‐climate model with a newly developed oceanic NO emission inventory, considering the abiotic photochemical production of NO in the seawater.

Exclusive ρ and J/Ψ photoproduction in ultraperipheral pA collisions: Predictions of the gluon saturation models for the momentum transfer distributions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
In this letter we complement previous studies on exclusive vector meson photoproduction in hadronic collisions presenting a comprehensive analysis of the t-spectrum measured in exclusive ρ and J/Ψ photoproduction in pA collisions at the LHC.

Neutral pion photoproduction at high energies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A Regge model with absorptive corrections is employed in a global analysis of the world data on the reactions gamma p -> pi0 p and gamma n -> pi0 n for photon energies from 3 to 18 GeV. In this region resonance contributions are expected to be negligible

Exploring the Influence of Metal Incorporation and Porosity Optimization on the H2O2 Production Efficiency of Templated Poly(Heptazine Imides)

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 17, Issue 22, November 24, 2025.
A series of poly(heptazine imides) (PHI) with different metal cations (K, Ni, Co, Fe) were synthesized using a hard templating method with SBA‐15 as the template. The morphology, structure, and photophysical properties of the materials were significantly influenced by the incorporated metal species.

Photoproduction of light vector mesons in Xe–Xe ultraperipheral collisions at the LHC and the nuclear density of Xe-129

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
We make predictions for cross sections of ρ and ϕ vector meson photoproduction in ultraperipheral Xe–Xe collisions at sNN=5.44TeV. Analyzing the momentum transfer distribution of ρ mesons in this process, we explore the feasibility of extracting the ...

Photoproduction of pions and etas in nuclei [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
We calculate the cross sections for inclusive one-pion, two-pion and eta photoproduction in nuclei in the photon energy range from 300 MeV to 900 MeV within the framework of a semi-classical BUU transport model.

Modeling Jovian Plasma‐Europa Interactions: Innovative Atmosphere and Ionosphere Depiction for JUICE Mission Insights

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 130, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract The JUpiter ICy moons Explorer (JUICE) mission, launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) in April 2023, aims to explore Jupiter and its icy moons, particularly focusing on Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. This study uses the Latmos Hybrid Simulation (LatHyS) model to simulate Europa's plasma and field environment, emphasizing the upcoming ...

Cutaneous photosensitivity of phototheranostic porphyrin–lipid nanoparticles

open access: yesPhotochemistry and Photobiology, Volume 101, Issue 6, Page 1541-1558, November/December 2025.
Porphyrin‐lipid nanoparticles (PORPHYSOMES) exhibit significantly less severe and shorter‐lasting skin photosensitivity to sunlight compared to a therapeutically equivalent dose of porfimer sodium (PHOTOFRIN) in a rat skin model. The difference was due to altered intradermal distribution and faster clearance of PORPHYSOMES from skin after intravenous ...

Recent diffractive results from HERA

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The diffractive dijet cross sections for photoproduction and deep inelastic scattering were studied and compared with theoretical NLO QCD predictions. The results of exclusive dijet production were compared to predictions from models which are based on ...
