Antibacterial properties of photochemically prepared AgTiO2 membranes
Biofouling reduces the membrane performance and has become a problem in many applications. One of the strategies to reduce biofouling is to apply antibacterial materials to the membrane surface, which prevents the attachment and growth of microorganisms.

Solar light CO2 photoreduction enhancement by mononuclear rhenium(I) complexes: Characterization and mechanistic insights [PDF]
The photocatalytic efficacy of a novel mononuclear rhenium(I) complex in CO2 reduction is remarkable, with a turnover number (TONCO) of 1517 in three hours, significantly outperforming previous Re(I) catalysts.

Photoreduction and incorporation of iron into ferritins [PDF]
Pea seed ferritin is able to incorporate ferrous iron into the mineral core. Fe2+ may be formed by reduction of exogenous Fe3+ with ascorbate or by photoreduction by ferritin and by ferric citrate. In our experimental conditions the bulk of the photoreduction is carried out by ferritin, which is able to photoreduce its endogenous iron. Citrate does not

Photoexcitation and One-Electron Reduction Processes of a CO2 Photoreduction Dyad Catalyst Having a Zinc(II) Porphyrin Photosensitizer [PDF]
We have explored the photophysical properties and one electron reduction process in the dyad photocatalyst for CO2 photoreduction, ZnP-phen=Re, in which the catalyst of fac-[Re(1,10-phenanthoroline)(CO)3Br] (phen=Re) is directly connected with the ...

Alkoxy chain length drives a continuous transition from eclipsed AA to a serrated, slipped AA* configuration over Co‐porphyrin COFs. A moderate slip both contracts the pore channel to enrich CO2 and suppress hydrogen evolution, and enhances collective high‐spin of Co sites, which delivers a record CO production rate with high selectivity.
