Trap‐Assisted Transport and Neuromorphic Plasticity in Lead‐Free 2D Perovskites PEA2SnI4

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An artificial retina built from lead‐free layered perovskite (PEA)2SnI4 converts light input into a persistent photocurrent and sums successive flashes over time. Micro/nanocrystals integrated on electrodes act as synapse‐like pixels that perform temporal integration directly in hardware. This in‐sensor preprocessing merges detection and computation on

Aggregation-Induced Emission-Active Cyanostilbene-Based Liquid Crystals: Self-Assembly, Photophysical Property, and Multiresponsive Behavior

open access: yesMolecules
Cyanostilbene (CS)-related conjugated groups can be considered as dual functional groups of AIEgen and mesogen to construct photoluminescent liquid crystals, and it is essential to study the relationship between their molecular structures and compound ...

Deciphering Small Molecule Diffusion Parameters Across Light Responsive Polymersome Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive polymersomes bearing donor–acceptor Stenhouse adducts (DASAs) enable programmable control over small‐molecule transport across synthetic membranes. By systematically varying DASA density, an optimal functionalization regime is identified that maximizes light‐gated permeability.

A photocatalytic redox cycle over a polyimide catalyst drives efficient solar-to-H2O2 conversion

open access: yesNature Communications
Circumventing the conventional two-electron oxygen reduction pathway remains a great problem in enhancing the efficiency of H2O2 photosynthesis. A promising approach to achieve outstanding photocatalytic activity involves the utilization of redox ...

Photoresponsive Type III Porous Liquids

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, 2022
Abstract Porous materials are the subject of extensive research because of potential applications in areas such as gas adsorption and molecular separations. Until recently, most porous materials were solids, but there is now an emerging class of materials known as porous liquids.

Thermo‐Mechanically Recyclable Smart Textiles from Circularly Knitted Liquid Crystal Elastomer Fibers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reprogrammable multi‐material smart textiles knitted from liquid crystal elastomer fibers undergo 2D and 3D deformation under thermal and photo stimuli. Circularly knitted tubular structures reversibly contract in radial and axial directions, enabling autonomous climbing, liquid release, and micro pumping.

Synthesis of photoresponsive cholesterol-based azobenzene organogels: dependence on different spacer lengths

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2015
A series of azobenzene–cholesterol organogel compounds (M0–M12) with different spacers were designed and synthesized. The molecular structures were confirmed by 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
