Study on the photosensitivity of photosensitive fibers

The photosensitivity of photosensitive fibers is studied experimentally and theoretically. In the experiment, the relationship between the diffractive index increment of photosensitive fibers and UV irradiating dose based on an unbalanced Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) is measured.

The Prognosis of Photosensitivity

Summary: Since 1968, annual EEG recordings during photic stimulation using a standardised technique have been made on photosensitive patients and siblings. In 1983, 72 were aged ≥20 years and 14 were aged 16–19 years. Mean duration of follow‐up was 9.8 ± 4.8 years.

Abstract Systemic injection of hematoporphyrin derivative (HpD) in combination with visible light (red or blue‐green) delivered by laser was used to treat a patient with psoriasis. The psoriatic lesions responded vigorously to laser treatments, forming eschars by 1 week post irradiation.
