Single Atom Pd Nanozyme for Ferroptosis-Boosted Mild-Temperature Photothermal Therapy.

Angewandte Chemie, 2021
Photothermal therapy (PTT) is extremely promising tumor therapeutic modality. However, excessive heat inevitably injures normal tissues nearby tumors, and the cancer cells damage caused by mild hyperthermia is easily repaired by stress-induced heat shock

Photothermal Absorption Correlation Spectroscopy

ACS Nano, 2009
Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) is a popular technique, complementary to cell imaging for the investigation of dynamic processes in living cells. Based on fluorescence, this single molecule method suffers from artifacts originating from the poor fluorophore photophysics: photobleaching, blinking, and saturation.

Combined Photothermal Lens and Photothermal Mirror Characterization of Polymers

Applied Spectroscopy, 2014
We propose a combined thermal lens and thermal mirror method as concurrent photothermal techniques for the physical characterization of polymers. This combined method is used to investigate polymers as a function of temperature from room temperature up to 170 °C. The method permits a direct determination of thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity.
