Loss Analysis in Perovskite Photovoltaic Modules [PDF]
Hybrid metal‐halide perovskite‐based thin‐film photovoltaics (PVs) have the potential to become the next generation of commercialized PV technology with certified power conversion efficiencies reaching 24% on devices having 0.1 cm2 area. Recent efforts in upscaling this technology result in an efficiency of 12.6% for 354 cm2 modules. However, upscaling

A general, versatile laser‐shock synthesis process is reported to produce various bimetallic CuNi, CuFe, CuCo, and medium‐entropy CuFeCoNi heterostructures, in which crystalline metal nanoparticles are anchored to amorphous hydroxide supports. During nitrate reduction reaction, the heterostructures undergo dynamic amorphous/crystalline reconstruction ...

Operation Limits of Integrated Photo‐Rechargeable Batteries
This study elucidates the operational limitations of integrated photo‐rechargeable batteries. We demonstrate that the photo‐charging process is fundamentally restricted not only by material‐to‐material energy level alignment but also by transient capacitive charge accumulation within the cathode framework.
