Positional Isomer Engineering for Crystallization Kinetics Control in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Based on the ortho‐para configuration of the amino‐sulfonic acid group, 2,4‐diaminobenzenesulfonic acid (2,4‐DABSA) forms the strongest coordination with the perovskite precursor among its isomers, guiding a unique “fast nucleation followed by slow crystallization” kinetics.

Tandem Electrolysers for High‐Efficiency CO2‐to‐Acetate Conversion Driven by Full‐Spectrum Solar Energy

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A full‐spectrum solar‐driven tandem electrolysis system enables efficient CO2‐to‐acetate conversion by spectrally splitting sunlight and coupling high‐temperature SOEC CO2‐to‐CO electrolysis with ambient CO reduction. The integrated design achieves a solar‐to‐acetate efficiency of 15.8%, demonstrating effective energy‐quality matching for solar carbon ...

Boosting Bifacial Output Power of Ag‐CIGS Solar Cells by Optimizing ITO Back‐Contact Thickness for Tandem Applications

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Optimized ITO back contact with pre‐Ga supply growth and Ag incorporation suppresses GaOx formation and interface recombination in bifacial CIGS solar cells. The devices achieve 17.25% front and 5.77% rear efficiency, delivering record bifacial power density up to 32.26 mW cm−2 in 4T perovskite/CIGS tandem architectures under enhanced albedo ...

Photovoltaic modules diagnostic: An overview

IECON 2013 - 39th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2013
Diagnostic functions will be making the difference in photovoltaic systems. The need of a daily, monthly and yearly quantification of the energy produced by a plant is a feature required by the customers for comparing the actual performances of their system with the expected values in order to quantify the real return on investment time. In some cases,

Modelling the photovoltaic module

2011 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2011
This paper refers into various ways in simulation the Photovoltaic (PV) module behaviour under any combination of solar irradiation and ambient temperature. There are three different approaches presented here briefly and one of them ischosen because of its good accuracy and relatively low computational time.
