Photovoltaic-thermoelectric modules: A feasibility study
In this paper a hybrid solar system made with photovoltaic cells and thermoelectric modules has been analyzed. The theoretical energy conversion and the performance parameters have been investigated and compared with respect to design and geographic location using a simulated model.

Photovoltaic modules diagnostic: An overview
IECON 2013 - 39th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2013Diagnostic functions will be making the difference in photovoltaic systems. The need of a daily, monthly and yearly quantification of the energy produced by a plant is a feature required by the customers for comparing the actual performances of their system with the expected values in order to quantify the real return on investment time. In some cases,

MATLAB Modeling and Simulation of Photovoltaic Modules
Advanced Materials Research, 2012In this paper a modeling method is investigated that finds the non-linear equation parameters of a photovoltaic (PV) module in order to obtain the desired PV model using any circuit simulator. This modeling method adjusts the I-V curve at three remarkable points: the open circuit voltage, the short circuit current, and the maximum power point [1 ...

Compact Electrothermal Macromodeling of Photovoltaic Modules
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2009This brief presents an original compact electrothermal macromodel of a photovoltaic module composed of a large number of series-connected solar cells. The model is able to properly incorporate the effect of a uniform temperature increase over the module as well as the presence of temperature gradients along the cells.

The High-Concentrator Photovoltaic Module
2015High-concentrator photovoltaic (HCPV) modules incorporate solar cells, optical devices, cooling mechanisms, and other elements in an assembly to provide the functions required to concentrate sunlight and obtain electricity. The variety of designs for configuring HCPV modules is introduced in this chapter.

Photovoltaic Module to Module Monitoring System
2018 IEEE 7th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC) (A Joint Conference of 45th IEEE PVSC, 28th PVSEC & 34th EU PVSEC), 2018A PV plant monitoring system, which is able to detect faults in individual modules is presented. The system is divided in two parts: A control unit for the whole PV plant and a measuring circuit connected in parallel to each PV module. The measuring circuit is able to disturb the working point of the module and measuring this perturbation estimate the ...

Abstract This paper reviews the status of CuInSe 2 (CIS) module development. The potential of CIS for high power, thin film photovoltaic modules is demonstrated by the achievement of 14.1% active area cell efficiencies and unlaminated module power outputs of 10.5 W (11.2% aperture efficiency) on 940 cm 2 modules and 37.8 W (9.7% aperture efficiency)
