Abstract In an equilibrium cell, the aqueous solubility of m -phthalic acid ( m -PTA), o -phthalic acid ( o -PTA), p -phthalic acid ( p -PTA) was determined from 298 to 483 K using a method in which an excess amount of solubilizate was equilibrated with the aqueous solution and the saturated liquid compositions were analyzed by titration.
