Genome Architecture and Speciation in Plants and Animals

In this review, we partially address this gap by asking how variation in genome architecture impacts speciation across the plant and animal kingdoms.

Environmental Filtering Maintains Macroinvertebrate Diversity in the Upper Jinsha River
Ecology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 10, October 2025.Macroinvertebrate community structure differed significantly among water bodies. Species and functional diversity are higher in tributaries than in mainstems, whereas phylogenetic diversity shows no significant spatial differences. The macroinvertebrate community in the upper Jinsha River are mainly deterministic processes.
