Impedance attribute interpretation and rock physics

Beijing 2009 International Geophysical Conference and Exposition, Beijing, China, 24–27 April 2009, 2009
Seismic inversion is routinely performed to generate impedance attributes in the practice of reservoir characterization. Analysis and interpretation of the seismic attributes incorporated with Petrophysics/Rock Physics analysis provide solutions to quality prospect identification and quantitative reservoir characterization.

Estimating cancers attributable to physical inactivity in Australia

Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport
It was previously estimated that 1814 (1.6 % of incident cancers) were attributable to physical inactivity in Australia in 2010, when only three sites were considered. We estimated the burden of cancer due to physical inactivity in Australia for 13 sites. The population attributable fraction estimated site-specific cancer cases attributable to physical ...

Physical Attributes of Pulse Jet Mixer Operation

Volume 2, Fora: Cavitation and Multiphase Flow; Fluid Measurements and Instrumentation; Microfluidics; Multiphase Flows: Work in Progress, 2013
Vessels mixed using pulse jet mixers that produce a periodic, rather than steady, flow present challenges with respect to modeling slurry mixing. A PJM is a cylindrical tank within the mixed tank that has a conical bottom with an orifice through which process fluid cyclically enters and is expelled forcefully by pressurizing the air space above the ...
