Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

At low cell density, SETDB1 and YAP1 accumulate in the nucleus. As cell density increases, the Hippo pathway is gradually activated, and SETDB1 is associated with increased YAP1 phosphorylation. At high cell density, phosphorylated YAP1 is sequestered in the cytoplasm, while SETDB1 becomes polyubiquitinated and degraded by the ubiquitin–proteasome ...

It is shown that physical fields are formed by physical structures, which in their properties are differential-geometrical structures. These results have been obtained due to using the mathematical apparatus of skew-symmetric differential forms. This apparatus discloses the controlling role of the conservation laws in evolutionary processes, which ...

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Treating Chronic Tendinopathy: Physical Therapy, Surgery and Other Form of Therapy
Introduction: The term "tendinopathy" refers to pathological changes in tendons. The previously used term "tendonitis" does not fully capture the nature of the condition, as inflammatory changes, when present, are secondary to degenerative damage ...

Lithium atom storage in nanoporous cellulose via surface induced $\rm Li_2$ breakage
We demonstrate a physical mechanism that enhances a splitting of diatomic $\rm Li_2$ at cellulose surfaces. The origin of this splitting is a possible surface induced diatomic excited state resonance repulsion.
