Enhancing Physical Layer Security in Dual-Hop Multiuser Transmission

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we consider the Physical Layer Security(PLS) problem in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) based dual-hop system which consists of multiple users, multiple amplify and forward relays, and an eavesdropper.

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Secure Relay and Jammer Selection for Physical Layer Security [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2015
Secure relay and jammer selection for physical-layer security is studied in a wireless network with multiple intermediate nodes and eavesdroppers, where each intermediate node either helps to forward messages as a relay, or broadcasts noise as a jammer.

Physical Layer Security of Hybrid Satellite-FSO Cooperative Systems

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2019
In this paper, we study the physical layer secrecy performance of a hybrid satellite and free-space optical (FSO) cooperative system. The satellite links are assumed to follow the shadowed-Rician fading distribution, and the channel of the terrestrial ...
