Microfluidic electro‐viscoelastic manipulation of extracellular vesicles
The electro‐viscoelastic manipulation as a potential method for separation of particles based on size. The particles introduced as a sheath flow migrate to the channel center under the influence of simultaneously applied electric field and pressure driven flow.

Visualization of Word Usage in Fluid Mechanics Abstracts
The fluid dynamics video linked in the document shows how `keywords' from abstracts contained in three journals--Physics of Fluids (A) from 1970, Experiments in Fluids from 1983, and Journal of Fluid Mechanics from 1954--have changed over ...

A Physical Insight into Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer
Mathematical equations that describe all physical processes are valid only under certain assumptions. One of them is the minimum scales used for the given description. In fact, this prohibits the use of derivatives in the mathematical models of the physical processes.

Understanding Mechanisms of Whole Brain and Regional Grey Matter Atrophy in Children With MOGAD
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the mechanisms driving whole brain and regional grey matter (GM) volume changes along with their clinical correlates in paediatric myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody (MOG‐Ab)–associated disease (MOGAD). Methods One‐hundred‐nine paediatric MOGAD patients from two UK centres underwent MRI at attack nadir and ...

Finite-size effects in the dynamics of neutrally buoyant particles in turbulent flow
The dynamics of neutrally buoyant particles transported by a turbulent flow is investigated for spherical particles with radii of the order of the Kolmogorov dissipative scale or larger.

Digital Activity Markers in Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the utility of smartwatch and smartphone‐based activity metrics for assessing disease severity and quality of life in patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). Methods In the electronic monitoring of disease activity in patients with CIDP (EMDA‐CIDP) trial, we performed a prospective ...

Systems with long range interactions in general are not additive, which can lead to an inequivalence of the microcanonical and canonical ensembles. The microcanonical ensemble may show richer behavior than the canonical one, including negative specific ...
