ABSTRACT Purpose Phosphocreatine (PCr) is an essential marker of muscle metabolism, and accurate quantification of its (fs) and its exchange rate (ksw) is essential for diagnosing various muscular and neuromuscular diseases. Although chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI can detect the saturation transfer effect from PCr, quantification of ...

Anisotropic Diffuse Radiation Model of Photovoltaic Systems
Monthly incident diffuse energy—isotropic and anisotropic models. ABSTRACT The diffuse solar radiation is a component of the global solar radiation and may contribute a significant percentage (50% and above in some locations) of the electric output energy of Photovoltaic (PV) systems.

The Need for Fundamental Photovoltaics Research to Ensure Energy Security
The center of this graphic focuses on the core of this paper—that fundamental research is central to the continued development of the photovoltaic (PV) industry. To the left, we have depictions of what is being studied—PV materials, PV cell structures, and PV module structures.

Near‐resonant excitation of the Adriatic barotropic modes: The seiche events of December 2019
This study examines severe flooding in the northern Adriatic Sea in December 2019, which existing forecasting systems failed to predict. Analysis of wind and sea‐level data, alongside reanalysis datasets and a high‐resolution hydrodynamic model, revealed a wind‐induced resonance mechanism.
