Shining light on the scotogenic model: interplay of colliders and cosmology

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In the framework of the scotogenic model, which features radiative generation of neutrino masses, we explore light dark matter scenario. Throughout the paper we chiefly focus on keV-scale dark matter which can be produced either via freeze-in through the

An Effective Guide to Beyond the Standard Model Physics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Effective Lagrangians with dimension-six operators are widely used to analyse Higgs and other electroweak data. We show how to build a basis of operators such that each operator corresponds to a coupling which is well measured or will be in the future ...

Pseudo-majoron as light mediator of singlet scalar dark matter

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
In the singlet-triplet majoron model of neutrino mass, lepton number is spontaneously broken. If it is also softly broken, then a naturally light pseudoscalar particle η I exists.

Astrophysical neutrinos flavored with Beyond the Standard Model physics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We systematically study the allowed parameter space for the flavor composition of astrophysical neutrinos measured at Earth, including beyond the Standard Model theories at production, during propagation, and at detection. One motivation is to illustrate

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

Exotic sterile neutrinos and pseudo-Goldstone phenomenology

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We study the phenomenology of a light (GeV scale) sterile neutrino sector and the pseudo-Goldstone boson (not the majoron) associated with a global symmetry in this sector that is broken at a high scale.

Probing dark matter freeze-in with long-lived particle signatures: MATHUSLA, HL-LHC and FCC-hh

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Collider searches for long-lived particles yield a promising avenue to probe the freeze-in production of Dark Matter via the decay of a parent particle.

Relativistic freeze-in with scalar dark matter in a gauged B − L model and electroweak symmetry breaking

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We explore relativistic freeze-in production of scalar dark matter in gauged B − L model, where we focus on the production of dark matter from the decay and annihilation of Standard Model (SM) and B − L Higgs bosons.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.
