Resonance Production and $\pi\pi$ S-wave in $\pi^- + p \rightarrow \pi^- \pi^- \pi^+ + p_{recoil}$ at 190 GeV/c

open access: yes, 2017
The COMPASS collaboration has collected the currently largest data set on diffractively produced $\pi^-\pi^-\pi^+$ final states using a negative pion beam of 190 GeV/c momentum impinging on a stationary proton target.

Dalitz Plot Analysis of D_s+ -> pi+ pi- pi+

open access: yes, 2008
A Dalitz plot analysis of approximately 13,000 Ds+ decays to pi+pi-pi+ has been performed. The analysis uses a 384 fb-1 data sample recorded by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- storage ring running at center of mass energies near 10.6 GeV.

Phase Motion of the Scalar $\pi \pi$ Amplitudes in $D^+$, $D^+_s \to \pi^-\pi^+\pi^+$ Decays

open access: yes, 2003
We make a direct and model-independent measurement of the low $\pi^+\pi^-$ mass phase motion in the $D^+ \to \pi^-\pi^+\pi^+$ decay. Our preliminary results show a strong phase variation, compatible with the isoscalar $\sigma(500)$ meson.

Analysis and control strategy of standalone PV system with various reference frames

open access: yesOpen Engineering, 2022
Renewable energy sources like solar power are the more convenient source of renewable energy. Nowadays, increasing the energy demand may create many disturbances in power system distribution. To overcome the necessity of power demand, all are focusing on

Measurement of \Gamma(\eta -> \pi^+\pi^-\gamma)/\Gamma(\eta -> \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0) with the KLOE Detector

open access: yes, 2012
The ratio R_{\eta}=\Gamma(\eta -> \pi^+\pi^-\gamma)/\Gamma(\eta -> \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0) has been measured by analyzing 22 million \phi \to \eta \gamma decays collected by the KLOE experiment at DA\PhiNE, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 558 pb ...

Observation of eta' -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(+) pi(-) and eta' -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(0) pi(0)

open access: yes, 2015
Using a sample of 1.3 x 10(9) J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector, we report the first observation of eta' -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(+) pi(-) and eta' -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(0) pi(0). The measured branching fractions are B(eta' -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(+) pi(-)) = [8.53 +/- 0.69(stat.) +/- 0.64(syst.)] x 10(-5) and B(eta' -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(0) pi(0)) = [1.82 +/-

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

Adherence to Protocol Recommendations for Children With Wilms Tumour in Two Consecutive Studies in the United Kingdom and Ireland—Does Variation Matter?

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.
