During the examination of a wounded white pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) brought to the clinic of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Selcuk University, lice infestation of the oral cavity was observed and 26 lice were collected. The lice were identified as Piagetiella titan during microscopical examination.
