Estimating the Local Radius of Convergence for Picard Iteration [PDF]
In this paper, we propose an algorithm to estimate the radius of convergence for the Picard iteration in the setting of a real Hilbert space. Numerical experiments show that the proposed algorithm provides convergence balls close to or even identical to the best ones.

Polynomiography via Ishikawa and Mann Iterations [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to present some modifications of complex polynomial roots finding visualization process. In this paper Ishikawa or Mann iterations are used instead of the standard Picard iteration.

Neuronal PKM2‐driven glycolysis generates excess lactate that triggers histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la), establishing a pathogenic metabolic‐epigenetic axis in epilepsy. Elevated H3K18la enriches the Cop1 promoter, transcriptionally upregulating the E3 ubiquitin ligase COP1, which subsequently drives proteasomal degradation of GABAARβ2 and impairs ...

Biomorphs via Modified Iterations [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to present some modifications of the biomorphs generation algorithm introduced by Pickover in 1986. A biomorph stands for biological morphologies. It is obtained by a modified Julia set generation algorithm.

3D Chromatin Architecture Provides Insights Into Leaf Trait Variation Among Pear Species
ABSTRACT Three‐dimensional (3D) chromatin architecture plays a fundamental role in eukaryotic gene regulations, its functional significance in perennial fruit trees remains poorly characterized despite extensive applications in crop genomics. Here, we developed high‐resolution (∼5 kb) Hi‐C maps of Pyrus and compared 3D genomic architecture of three ...

This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.

We show that the Picard, Mann and the Ishikawa iterations are equivalent when applied to a class of quasi-contractive operators. This result generalises that of Soltuz among others. JONAMP Vol. 11 2007: pp.

Comparison of numerical methods for the solution of Richards' equation in layered porous media [PDF]
In this research, the advanced finite volume scheme of the Dual Discrete method has been used for the numerical modeling of Richards' equation. Three forms of Richards' equation, including head form, water content form, and mixed form with a modified ...

Multi‐omics analyses uncover breed‐specific cis‐regulatory landscapes and higher‐order chromatin architectural differences that underlie early postnatal muscle fiber divergence in pigs. A super‐enhancer upstream of PPP3CB recruits MEF2C to activate PPP3CB transcription, while the PPP3CB–MEF2C positive feedback loop promotes oxidative muscle fiber ...
