Parallel Multi‐Operand Addition Using CPA‐Trees and Carry‐Select Adders

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, EarlyView.
A balanced parallel CPA‐tree architecture with CSLA reduces the critical‐path delay of multi‐operand addition while preserving structural regularity. ASIC results demonstrate delay reductions of up to 34% with low area overhead, providing an efficient and scalable solution for high‐performance arithmetic.

Reward Processing in Binge Eating and Harmful Drinking: A Systematic Review

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Binge eating and harmful drinking commonly co‐occur, which worsens the physical and psychological consequences associated with either behavior alone. Reward processing alterations have been demonstrated among individuals who engage in binge eating or harmful drinking alone; however, there is limited understanding of how different ...

Do witnesses of functional/dissociative seizures recall them accurately? A UK experimental study of semiology recall at clinically relevant time points with a pilot intervention

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Different causes of transient loss of consciousness (TLOC) carry distinct risks and require different management. Early accurate diagnosis is essential to guide counseling, investigation, and referral. In routine practice, frontline clinicians and specialists often rely on eyewitness accounts, yet the reliability of witness testimony

Cross‐Entropy of Power Spectral Density Function: A Modal Identification Framework

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The power spectral density (PSD) function of measured structural response contains a significant amount of information, including the modal parameters (natural frequencies, damping ratios). Output‐only system identification or modal identification technique can be used for extracting such modal parameters from the measured response or its ...

Energy‐Based Characterisation of Earthquake Damage in Masonry Infills Through Combined In‐Plane and Out‐of‐Plane Experimental Tests

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The seismic capacity of structural systems/members is usually defined in terms of deformation thresholds. Although this is effective in many circumstances, disregarding cumulative quantities such as hysteretic energy may be ineffective when low‐cycle fatigue is relevant (e.g., long‐duration ground motions, very soft soils, ground‐motion ...

Surrogate‐Based Time‐Continuous Seismic Fragility Assessment of Corrosion‐Deteriorated Reinforced Concrete Bridges Under Climate Change

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Seismic fragility assessment of reinforced concrete (RC) bridges exposed to corrosive environments must reliably capture time‐dependent deterioration impacts. Climate change compounds this challenge through nonstationary temperature and humidity variations that accelerate bridge corrosion.
