Excess enthalpies at 308.15 K of chloroform + pyridine, + α-picoline, + β-picoline, + γ-picoline, and + cyclohexane

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1974
Abstract Excess enthalpies of chloroform+pyridine, +α-picoline, +βpicoline, +γ-picoline, and +cyclohexane have been measured at 308.15 K. Exothermic mixing suggests molecular interactions between chloroform and pyridine and between chloroform and the picolines. This conclusion is supported by i.r. and n.m.r. studies.

Immunobiology of Picolinic Acid

1996
Exposure of various cell types to IFN results in increased enzymatic activities leading to the breakdown of tryptophan and evidence exists to suggest that the catabolism of tryptophan may be connected to the biological effects of interferon (Carlin et al., 1989.
