Physics‐Aware Machine‐Learning‐Driven Inverse Design of Broadband Ultra‐Open Acoustic Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A physics‐aware machine‐learning framework enables inverse design of ultra‐open acoustic silencers by decoupling spectral and radial design spaces. The approach rapidly identifies broadband, compact, and highly ventilated architectures, while revealing hidden linear design rules that link geometry, impedance matching, and acoustic performance.

Generalized picture distance measure and applications to picture fuzzy clustering

open access: yes, 2016
Picture fuzzy set (PFS), which is a generalization of traditional fuzzy set and intuitionistic fuzzy set, shows great promises of better adaptation to many practical problems in pattern recognition, artificial life, robotic, expert and knowledge-based ...

Synergistic p53 Pathway Activation Through Sono‐Gene Therapy Induced by Ultrasound‐Triggered Theranostic Mesoporous Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of ultrasound‐mediated ICG/siCD24@MSN‐LCD from nanostructure to synergistic sono‐gene therapy. This nanoplatform targets ASGPR via the LCD shell, which dissociates to release loaded ICG and siCD24. The core mechanism involves ultrasound‐guided sonodynamic therapy by ICG and CD24 knockdown by siCD24, both activating the p53 axis

Combination of interval-valued fuzzy set and soft set [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The soft set theory, proposed by Molodtsov, can be used as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. By combining the interval-valued fuzzy set and soft set models, the purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of the interval ...

Toward High‐Resolution Polymeric Neural Interfaces: A Practical Guide for Electron Beam Lithography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electron beam lithography (EBL) enables sub‐micron patterning of polymer‐based neural implants, overcoming the resolution limits of optical lithography. By addressing challenges such as charging, non‐planarity, and substrate heating, it supports higher channel density, improved miniaturization, and better long‐term tissue integration.

A Rare De Novo Missense Mutation in IFT122 Confers a Genetic Susceptibility Factor of Idiopathic Pediatric Uveitis Via Trio‐based Whole‐Exome Sequencing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rare de novo IFT122‐A773E variant is identified in idiopathic pediatric uveitis and shown to exacerbate retinal inflammation and barrier dysfunction. Mechanistically, the variant enhances IFT43 interaction, elevates calcium signaling, and activates the MEK/ERK/FRA1 axis, revealing a previously unrecognized cilia‐associated pathway that may increase ...

Neuromorphic Devices and Computing for Sensing, Memory, and Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review introduces neuromorphic devices made from diverse materials. These devices mimic neuronal functions and architectures and, when integrated with artificial or biological computing, can form closed loops with neurons for pressure, optical, acoustic, and biochemical sensing and modulation.

Modeling and leveling of categories affecting the geographical landscape form of the world [PDF]

open access: yesتحقیقات کاربردی علوم جغرافیایی
Landscapes cannot be explained only by obscure geographical frequencies that can be described by objective methods, but they are real subjective observations and experiences that can be inferred by artistic and aesthetic perception, analysis and ...

Multi‐Omics Integration Identifies a CDH3‐Associated Malignant Epithelial State and Immunosuppressive Niche to Predict Prognosis in Thymic Epithelial Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell, spatial, molecular, and pathology analyses identify a CDH3‐associated malignant epithelial state in thymic epithelial tumors. This state links stem‐like and EMT programs to M2 macrophage–rich immunosuppressive niches, genomic instability, poor survival, and drug vulnerability.

α‐Synuclein Forms Distinct Micelle‐Like Assemblies at Low Ionic Strengths

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
At high ionic strength, α‐synuclein forms diverse assemblies, including oligomers, fibrils, and condensates. Here, we show that at low ionic strength, α‐synuclein adopts a distinct, low‐abundance assembly state. These assemblies maintain a constant size above a critical concentration and do not coalesce, suggesting a micelle‐like organization ...
