Recent Progress on Flexible Multimodal Sensors: Decoupling Strategies, Fabrication and Applications
In this review, we establish a tripartite decoupling framework for flexible multimodal sensors, which elucidates the underlying principles of signal crosstalk and their solutions through material design, structural engineering, and AI algorithms. We also demonstrate its potential applications across environmental monitoring, health monitoring, human ...

Piecewise linear slope estimation [PDF]
This paper presents a method for directly estimating slope values in a noisy piecewise linear function. By imposing a Markov structure on the sequence of slopes, piecewise linear fitting is posed as a maximum a posteriori estimation problem. A dynamic program efficiently solves this by traversing a linearly growing trellis. The alternating maximization

The topological entropy of iterated piecewise affine maps is uncomputable [PDF]
We show that it is impossible to compute (or even to approximate) the topological entropy of a continuous piecewise affine function in dimension four. The same result holds for saturated linear functions in unbounded dimension.

Construct NMR Capillary Pressure Curves by Piecewise Power Function Based on T2 Cutoff Values
To some extent, pore throat structures of the rock can be characterized by NMR T2 distribution and capillary pressure curve. Theoretical analysis showed that NMR T2 distribution of a rock could potentially be used to derive its capillary pressure curve ...
