Convergence of solutions of an impulsive differential system with a piecewise constant argument
We prove the existence and uniqueness of the solutions of an impulsive digerential system with a piecewise constant argument. Moreover, we obtain sufficient conditions for the convergence of these solutions and then prove that the limits of the solutions can be calculated by a ...

Dynamics of a harvested logistic type model with delay and piecewise constant argument
In this paper, a harvested logistic equation with delay and piecewise constant argument of generalized type is addressed. Both discrete and piecewise constant delays are incorporated into the logistic equation for investigation. Existence, boundedness of

Learning regime‐dependent governing equations: A symbolic decision tree approach
Abstract Many chemical engineering systems are governed by mechanisms that switch across operating regimes, making the data‐driven discovery of regime‐dependent governing equations essential for predictive modeling, optimization, and control. We propose symbolic decision trees for the data‐driven discovery of regime‐dependent governing equations.

Explaining the Origin of Negative Poisson's Ratio in Amorphous Networks With Machine Learning
This review summarizes how machine learning (ML) breaks the “vicious cycle” in designing auxetic amorphous networks. By transitioning from traditional “black‐box” optimization to an interpretable “AI‐Physics” closed‐loop paradigm, ML is shown to not only discover highly optimized structures—such as all‐convex polygon networks—but also unveil hidden ...

Neural networks with piecewise constant argument and impact activation
This dissertation addresses the new models in mathematical neuroscience: artificial neural networks, which have many similarities with the structure of human brain and the functions of cells by electronic circuits. The networks have been investigated due

From Swarm to Individual: Emergent Individuality in Light‐Mediated Robot Collectives
Can individuality emerge from a swarm? Using nominally homogeneous phototactic robots, we show that collective light conditions reorganize robot‐level behavioral profiles. Global illumination amplifies persistent differences in state occupancy, while robot‐mounted local light cues reduce fixed differentiation and favor transient high‐switching profiles.
