A Novel Approach to Estimate the Transition Temperature via Dynamic Nanoindentation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A new dynamic nanoindentation‐based method was developed that uses the stiffness ratio as an indicator of the elastic–plastic deformation contributions at different temperatures. The approach successfully identified transition temperatures in ferritic steel and distinguished them from continuously ductile austenitic steel.

Gradient‐Conductivity Architecture Enables Synchronous Enhancement of Sensitivity and Detection Range in Multifunctional All‐Paper Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A gradient‐engineered all‐paper sensor is fabricated by integrating MXene and in situ grown AgNPs within hierarchical cellulose networks. The device breaks the sensitivity–detection range trade‐off through cascaded conductive pathways, enabling ultrahigh pressure sensitivity, humidity–pressure decoupled dual‐mode sensing, and outstanding EMI shielding,

A variation of parameters formula for nonautonomous linear impulsive differential equations with piecewise constant arguments of generalized type

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
In this work, we give a variation of parameters formula for nonautonomous linear impulsive differential equations with piecewise constant arguments of generalized type. We cover several cases of differential equations with deviated arguments investigated

Exploration on Robustness of Exponentially Global Stability of Recurrent Neural Networks with Neutral Terms and Generalized Piecewise Constant Arguments

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2021
With a view to the interference of piecewise constant arguments (PCAs) and neutral terms (NTs) to the original system and the significant applications in the signal transmission process, we explore the robustness of the exponentially global stability ...

Accelerated Discovery of Topological Spin Phase Diagrams in CrSBr Magnets Via High‐Throughput Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we develop a high‐throughput algorithm that accelerates the elucidation of phase diagrams of topological spin textures using limited computational resources at high numerical accuracy. Applying this framework to the van der Waals magnet CrSBr, we unveiled a hierarchy of previously unknown topological textures (domain‐wall bimerons, bimeron chains,

Alpha Unpredictable Cohen–Grossberg Neural Networks with Poisson Stable Piecewise Constant Arguments

open access: yesMathematics
There are three principal novelties in the present investigation. It is the first time Cohen–Grossberg-type neural networks are considered with the most general delay and advanced piecewise constant arguments.

Bifurcation in a Discrete-Time Piecewise Constant Dynamical System

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2013
The study of recurrent neural networks with piecewise constant transition or control functions has attracted much attention recently because they can be used to simulate many physical phenomena.

Oscillatory and nonoscillatory properties of first order differential equations with piecewise constant deviating arguments [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
In this paper, sufficient conditions have been obtained for oscillation and non-oscillation solutions of first order differential equations with piecewise constant deviating arguments.

Sacrificial‐Layer‐Assisted Heat‐Affected‐Zone Suppression in Laser Patterning of PET for High‐Performance Flexible Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A removable sacrificial polymer layer engineers the thermal boundary condition during nanosecond laser ablation of PET, suppressing heat‐affected‐zone formation without relying on costly ultrafast lasers. This strategy enables deep, high‐aspect‐ratio trenches with no detectable heat‐affected zone, templating silver‐filled mesh electrodes with record ...

Stationary convection-diffusion between two co-axial cylinders [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this note, we examine the high Peclet number limit of the stationary extended Graetz problem for which two families of real and imaginary eigenvalues are associated, respectively, with a downstream convective relaxation and the upstream diffusive ...
