The Alpine-Carpathian-Dinaridic orogenic system: correlation and evolution of tectonic units [PDF]
A correlation of tectonic units of the Alpine-Carpathian-Dinaridic system of orogens, including the substrate of the Pannonian and Transylvanian basins, is presented in the form of a map.

Crustal structure of the carpathian-pannonian region from ambient noise tomography [PDF]
We use ambient noise tomography to investigate the crust and uppermost mantle structure beneath the Carpathian-Pannonian region of Central Europe. Over 7500 Rayleigh wave empirical Green's functions are derived from interstation cross-correlations of ...

Campanian-Maastrichtian pelagic crinoids from NE Belgium and SE Netherlands: preliminary observations [PDF]
During recent years unexpectedly rich and diverse faunules of diminutive, pelagic crinoids of the order Roveacrinida SIEVERTS-DORECK in MOORE, LALICKER & FISCHER, 1952 have been collected from early and late Campanian and late Maastrichtian strata in the

Last scene in the large scale rotations of the Western Carpathians as reflected in paleomagnetic constraints [PDF]
This paper provides an overview of the paleomagnetic results which constrain the post-Paleogene tectonic development of the Western Carpathians. A group of these results are relevant to the last stage of the Tertiary folding and thrusting of the Silesian,

Exploitation of radiolarites at the Milovice I Gravettian site
The lithic assemblage from the Gravettian site at Milovice I was predominantly composed of radiolarite. To reconstruct the mobility patterns of the Gravettian population, we addressed the question of whether the radiolarites were imported from the ...
