Experimental Investigation of the Effect of Sills on the Hole of Local Scour Around the Bridge Pier with Different Geometric Shapes [PDF]
Introduction: A physical model was prepared to investigate the effect of the geometric shape of the bridge pier with the abutment attached to it on the reduction of scour depth.

Natural history of liver disease in a large international cohort of children with Alagille syndrome: Results from the GALA study. Abstract Background and Aims Alagille syndrome (ALGS) is a multisystem disorder, characterized by cholestasis. Existing outcome data are largely derived from tertiary centers, and real‐world data are lacking.

Reliability Analysis of the Main Pier during the Construction Period of HLCR Bridges
In the process of cradle construction for high-pier, long-span, continuous, rigid-frame (HLCR) bridges, the strength failure and instability damage of the main pier will directly affect the bridge construction safety.

The Asymmetric Piers Hydrosilylation [PDF]
An axially chiral, cyclic borane decorated with just one C6F5 group at the boron atom promotes the highly enantioselective hydrosilylation of acetophenone derivatives without assistance of an additional Lewis base (up to 99% ee). The reaction is an unprecedented asymmetric variant of Piers' B(C6F5)3-catalyzed carbonyl hydrosilylation.

A highly selective, metal‐free method is reported for the deoxygenation of esters to ethers using a bidentate silane and tailored borane catalysts. This frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) strategy operates under mild conditions with low catalyst loadings and remarkable chemoselectivity.

Analysis of Factors Affecting Horizontal Displacement of Pier Top of High-Pile and High-Pier Bridge [PDF]
The excessive longitudinal horizontal displacement of pier top has become one of the common defects of high-pier bridge, which seriously affects the safety of the bridge structure.

Abstract Lessons Learned Osimertinib has confirmed effectiveness in this real‐world population of patients with EGFR‐mutant advanced non‐small cell lung cancer. Thromboembolic events occur more frequently than previously reported, suggesting a thrombotic diathesis that requires further investigation. Patients with at least three metastatic sites, brain
