Spatial Energy–Force Structure of Piezoceramic Transducers

2011
Those who have developed piezoelectric transducers or read the first two chapters of this book may have two stereotypes: 1. Any piezoelement is an electromechanical oscillatory system, and can be presented and described as a piezoelectric resonator or a piezoelectric transformer. 2.

High-frequency ultrasonic transducer based on lead-free BSZT piezoceramics

Ultrasonics, 2011
This paper describes the fabrication and evaluation of a high-frequency (40MHz) transducer based on lead-free piezoceramics for ultrasonic imaging. The transducer with an aperture size of 0.9mm has been fabricated using barium strontium zirconate titanate ((Ba(0.95)Sr(0.05))(Zr(0.05)Ti(0.95))O(3), abbreviated as BSZT) ceramics. The lead-free BSZT has a

Design of actively tuned flexural piezoceramic bar/disk transducers

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2000
Underwater transducers with variable and controllable resonance frequency can efficiently transmit stepped or linear chirp signals of greater bandwidth by continuously matching their resonance frequency to the dominant frequency of the transmitted signal.

The electromechanical feed-back in piezoceramic sensors and transducers

1998 IEEE Ultrasonics Symposium. Proceedings (Cat. No. 98CH36102), 2002
The possibility is shown of control of the characteristics of piezoelectric transducers with the help of a spatial electromechanical feed-back. It is shown that under certain conditions, the error of transducers can theoretically be reduced to zero.

Optimum Damping of Beam Vibrations Using Piezoceramic Transducers

2016
In this thesis a piezo-electro-mechanical system, constituted of an aluminum beam with five piezoelectric patches glued on it, each of them shunted with an RL electrical circuit, has been numerically and experimentally investigated, in order to determine the optimal electric tuning parameters for vibration damping.

Piezoceramic Actuated Transducers for Interior Acoustic Noise Control

2014
Weight is a critical parameter in the design of any system launched into space. Current launch costs are on the order of 10,000 dollars per pound of payload capacity. Reducing weight and thus increasing payload capacity is always in the forefront of the design process.
