Tunable bandgap and luminescence characters in single-phase two-dimensional perovskite AVA2PbClxBr4-x alloys

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2021
Two-dimensional (2D) lead halide perovskites have garnered increasing interest due to their high photoluminescence quantum yields and tunable luminescence characters, making them excellent materials in light-emitting, especially for white-light emission.

Challenges during Flash Lamp Annealing of Aerosol‐Deposited Barium Titanate Films

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Aerosol deposition is used to rapidly deposit barium titanate films with thicknesses ranging from 2 to 16 μm at room temperature, eliminating the need for further densification. However, to recover the electromechanical properties, annealing is required, which limits the usage of temperature‐sensitive substrates.

Ab Initio Study on 3D Anisotropic Ferroelectric Switching Mechanism and Coercive Field in HfO2 and ZrO2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers a new switching mechanism in HfO2 and ZrO2, where the absence of a non‐polar layer along the a‐direction induces interaction between polar layers. Consequently, the switching barriers for growth are lower than those for nucleation in this direction, leading to a size‐dependent coercive field that matches experimental observations ...

Study on Lamb Waves in a Composite Phononic Crystal Plate

open access: yesCrystals, 2020
In the paper, a phononic crystal plate composed of a magnetorheological elastomer with adjustable band gaps in the low frequency range is constructed. The dispersion relations of Lamb waves are studied by the supercell plane wave expansion method.
