Piezoelectricity in polymers and biological materials
Ultrasonics, 1968Abstract The piezoelectric effect in polymers is usually explained in terms of the uniaxial orientation of the polymer crystallites and the classical piezoelectric property of these crystallites. Polarization caused by stress gradient seems to be necessary to the understanding of the geometrical relationship between stress and polarization.

Dielectric, Elastic and Piezoelectric Losses in Piezoelectric Materials
1974 Ultrasonics Symposium, 1974A tutorial description is given for losses in piezoelectric materials, The piezoelectric ceramics have many applications of interest and they serve as excel- lent examples of materials with dissipation. The author has included dielectric, e lastic and piezoelectric d issipation parameters for the last 15 years in the development of a family of computer

Additive Processes for Piezoelectric Materials: Piezoelectric MEMS
2011Piezoelectricity has been underutilized in the MEMS world. Fabrication process compatibility, complexity, and the limited availability of repeatable and reliable piezoelectric thin films have limited the incorporation of piezoelectric thin films in MEMS.
