Robust 3D Pig Measurement in Pig Farm
2019On a pig farm, the shipment of pigs of proper weight is very important for increasing profit. However, in order to reduce labor costs, many farmers ship pigs without weighing them. Therefore, an automatic sorting system that selects pigs that have reached the proper weight by measuring the weight of each pig has been developed.

Septicaemia in a pig-farm worker
The Lancet, 2001A 30-year-old pig-farm worker, presented in August, 1999, with a 16 h history of general malaise, fever, shortness of breath, and headache. Earlier that day his primary care practitioner had visited him at home and prescribed amoxycillin for a presumed chest infection. He had had a splenectomy after trauma 3 years previously.
