Computing Skinning Weights via Convex Duality
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.We present an alternate optimization method to compute bounded biharmonic skinning weights. Our method relies on a dual formulation, which can be optimized with a nonnegative linear least squares setup. Journal of Anatomy, EarlyView.Psittaciformes exhibit high levels of morphological diversity, particularly in skull and beak structure, previously linked to diet and body size. Although there were some levels of significance between diet and beak shape, body mass was a much stronger co‐variate. Diet is not determining beak shape within the clade.
