3D‐Printed Gastrointestinal Stents: In Vivo Evaluation in a Swine Small Bowel Perforation Model
Gastrointestinal fistulae and perforations can lead to severe complications including sepsis and patient death. In this work, the efficacy of 3D‐printed gastrointestinal stents composed of poly‐lactic‐acid (PLA) was evaluated in an in vivo swine model.

Oxygen and ROS Delivery for Infected Wound Healing and Future Prospects
Bacterial infection is a major driver of delayed wound healing and postsurgical readmissions; with rising antibiotic resistance, solid peroxide–releasing biomaterials offer sustained delivery of ROS/O2 for antimicrobial control and microenvironmental modulation.

Porcine Kobuvirus in Piglets, Thailand
To the Editor: To date, the genus Kobuvirus has consisted of 2 officially recognized species, Aichi virus and Bovine Kobuvirus (1). Aichi virus has been shown to be associated with acute gastroenteritis in humans (2–4), and bovine kobuvirus has been detected only in cattle (5,6).

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...

Classification of Sows for Longevity Based on Total Number of Piglets Born Alive in the First Parities [PDF]
The aim of this study was to classify the sows for longevity based on the total number of piglets born alive in the first parities. Data comprising the period from January 2017 to March 2020 were obtained from a commercial farm with 5,500 sows.

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Alloxan Diabetes in the Piglet [PDF]
LUKENS1 depancreatized young pigs, and found that the diabetic state which followed was characterized by a slight or absent fasting glucose-excretion, and a low fasting nitrogen-excretion. Ketonuria was marked, but was not accompanied by severe acidosis.
