Infrared‐Driven Polymer Intelligence

Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Infrared spectroscopy is combined with machine learning to accurately predict the glass transition temperature of polymers and enable real‐time process control. The approach outperforms traditional molecular fingerprints by capturing subtle spectral variations due to impurities and additives.

Abstract Premise The floral thermal microenvironment impacts plant reproduction through its effects on gametophyte performance and plant–pollinator interactions. Color and shape are axes of floral variation that may mediate floral temperature because they affect the absorption and reflection of solar radiation, but their interactive effects are unclear.
