Substructure Pseudo-Dynamic Test Study for a Structure Including Soil–Pile–Structure Dynamic Interaction

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
An improved Penzien model is proposed in this paper as a simplified model of soil–pile–structure interaction. The dynamic nonlinearity of soil under earthquake excitation is simulated by ANSYS in a free-field model and added to the original Penzien model.

Seismic Fragility Analysis of Bridge Group Pile Foundations considering Fluid-Pile-Soil Interaction

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2020
The cross-sea bridges play an important role to promote the development of regional economy. These bridges located in earthquake-prone areas may be subjected to severe earthquakes during their lifetime.

TIME EFFECT OF PILE-SOIL INTERACTION AND ITS ELASTIC-VISCOPLASTIC CONSTITUTIVE MODEL

open access: yesRudarsko-geološko-naftni Zbornik, 2019
Pile-soil interaction is considered to be one of the most important problems in the study of the mechanical behaviour of pile foundation. In this paper, the lateral friction resistance and pile-soil relative displacement of bridge piles in deep soft ...

Numerical investigation of soil and buried structures using finite element analysis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Structural and Construction Engineering, 2017
Today the important of studying soil effect on behavior of soil  contacted structures such as foundations, piles,  retaining wall and other similar structures is so much that neglecting of soil-structure interaction effect can cause to untrue results. In

Pseudo-Static Simplified Analysis Method of the Pile-Liquefiable Soil Interaction considering Rate-Dependent Characteristics

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2022
The lateral pressure generated by liquefied soil on pile is a critical parameter in the analysis of soil-pile interaction in liquefaction-susceptible sites.

Analysis of the effect of grouting parameters on pile-soil interaction of grouted piles

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2023
Reasonable control of grouting parameters was the key to improving the pile-soil interaction. However, quantitative analysis on the effect of grouting parameters on the pile-soil interaction was still lacking.

Study on the Lateral Dynamic Impedance of Pile Groups in Transversely Isotropic Soil Using Novak’s Plane Model

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2023
In order to consider the effect of anisotropy of soil around the pile on the lateral vibration of pile groups, the soil around the pile is regarded as a transversely isotropic medium, and a lateral dynamic interaction model of pile-pile in transversely ...

The influence of pile-soil interaction springs on the inclined liquefied site-group pile-supertructure system

open access: yes地震科学进展
The dynamic interaction of pile-soil-superstructure system is a complex process, especially in inclined liquefaction-induced lateral spreading site. Due to the permanent large deformation of the ground generated during the earthquake, nonlinear reactions

Experiment on Improving Bearing Capacity of Pile Foundation in Loess Area by Postgrouting

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, 2019
Postgrouting technology is an inevitable trend in the development of bored piles in the loess area. To study the behavior of end resistance, lateral friction, and bearing capacity of postgrouting pile and conventional pile, the mechanism of improving the
