BCR::ABL1‐Induced Enhancer Reprogramming Uncovers Hypersensitivity of Ph+B‐ALL Cells to Enhancer‐Targeting Drugs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ng et al. show that the BCR::ABL1 kinase that drives the lymphoid leukemia Ph+B‐ALL modulates enhancer function by coopting signaling‐inducible transcription factors such as MYC, STAT5, and ETV5. BCR::ABL1 thereby promotes the transcriptional program driving and defining this leukemia and renders Ph+B‐ALL cells hypersensitive to enhancer‐inhibiting ...

Multidisciplinary investigations of the pile-dwellings at Ljubljansko barje (Slovenia)

Quaternary International, 2013
Abstract The paper discusses the environmental changes in the pile-dwelling period (5.7–3.2 ka) at the Ljubljansko barje (Slovenia) which were revealed during the study of settlement pattern and sedimentary analysis. The archaeological and radiocarbon data have demonstrated that the oldest pile-dwellings were located closer to the edge of the wetland,

GPR investigation of remains of pile dwellings in Lake Zurich

2018 17th International Conference on Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), 2018
Remains of pile dwellings are present in many lakes around the Alps, particularly north of the Alps in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Those remains originating from 5000–1000 B.C. are listed as UNESCO World Heritage because of their historical and cultural importance and thus, deserve protection.

Dating of 4th millennium BC pile-dwellings on Ljubljansko barje, Slovenia

Journal of Archaeological Science, 2010
Abstract We present absolute dates of seven late Neolithic pile-dwellings on Ljubljansko barje, Slovenia. They were settled from ca. 3600 to 3332 (±10) and from 3160 to 3071 (±14) cal BC, as shown by investigations of wood using dendrochronology and radiocarbon wiggle-matching.
